Operations - Install Department
Installation Technician
Pay: ($15.00 to $20.00 Per Hour)
Requirements: AVL Safety Training / On The Job Training / OSHA-10 within 90 Days Of Hire.
Provides installation service by installing & servicing systems for AVL.

Prepares work to be accomplished

Take Directives from Job Lead and/or Project Manager.

Review prints, schematics, and specifications.

Obtains required parts and supplies

Receive & clarify requirements, assembling necessary parts and components with Project Leads.

Installation of infrastructure

Pulling wire, lifting, hanging and mounting hardware at eye level, below and overhead as needed.

Install of equipment and systems by mounting, hanging, connecting, soldering, cable termination, & connector crimping as required.

Maintains safe and clean working environment

Follow and enforce the AVL safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

Maintains company professionalism & reputation

Dressing appropriately, wearing AVL logoed shirts, or jackets at all times, along with hardhats and vest when jobsite requires.

Physically capable by

This position requires lifting over your head, lifting large items, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods of time. Driving, flying, overnight travel as needed along and in conjunction with the employee manual and contract documents. No fear of heights or working in lifts or small spaces. No physical restrictions.

Operations - Install Department
Installation Lead
Pay: ($19.00 to $25.00 Per Hour)
Requirements: 1 Year On Installation Team / AVL101 Course / CTS / OSHA-10
Job Purpose: Provides service by leading, installing, and improving the operation of the installation process.

Prepares work to be accomplished by reviewing job notes, layouts, schematics, and specifications.
-
Anticipates needed supplies by making a list of all needed parts for the day’s work. Review the plans to make sure you have what you need for the day.
-
Obtains required parts and supplies by clarifying requirements and assembling necessary parts and components.
-
Support Installations Techs by assigning tasks, monitoring work, adjusting and working alongside of the team members. (This position does not relieve you of any work less, greater of equal to the install team. Lead by example).

Installs equipment and systems by necessary means. Us the AVIXA standard of installation for AV components.
-
Verifies system performance by testing functioning of installed equipment and or parts.
-
Documents actions by completing end of day reports emailed to your supervisor each day. Maintains historical reference by documenting repair, installation, and maintenance actions.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by establishing and enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
-
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with the AVL employee policies and safety policies. A hard copy can be provided at any time for your use.

Maintains technical knowledge by achieving the CTS certification within the amount of time as noted below. Stay attuned to industry standards by reviewing the AVL website and AVIXA website.

Assistant PM
Pay: (Salary)
Requirements: At Least 1 Year as Installation Team Member / OSHA-10 / / CTS / AVL101 Course
Manages projects by working with clients, all AVL departments & Managing AVL's Installation teams to complete each job with time efficiency and leadership.

Establishes project scope by analyzing project proposal, shop drawings & collaborating with departments to define the scope of the work. Understand the project by looking ahead knowing what will be needed and having a good understanding of what the system should look like once finished.

Project preparation by reviewing the project deliverables, location, tools needed, hardware, connectors, wire, etc..., and by working with coordination personnel.
-
Set Project goals by providing a clear step-by-step plan with timeline objectives for each installation lead and installer. explaining the task for each lead and installer per project. Field installation techs shall abide by company policies & guidelines.
-
Confirms installation performance by establishing directives & standards as set forth by you, for installation. Standards are held to the CTS & CTS-I level for installation. Working on the field with the crews is partially how you keep track.
-
Controls project plan by abiding by the coordination schedule & staying on top of field progress. Utilize individual skillsets per task and assign accordingly.

Prepares project status reports by summarizing project install daily status reports from the filed via the “daily progress report” documents & save in the “project management” folder on the server for each respective project. Site reports are to be emailed to the Install Manager daily, until the new software is operational.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by establishing and enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations for the installers.

Maintains client communication by meeting on site, phone calls, video calls, AVL conference rooms, etc.

Maintains product and company reputation by speaking positively around employees and supporting a good work culture, respect for peers, clients, and management.

Contributes to team effort by doing what it takes to complete a project. This includes installing, working extended hours when needed, cleaning sites & supporting of all other staff in collaboration. Bending, lifting & pulling are all art of the team effort and work.

Drafting I
Pay: (Salary)
Requirements: At least 1 Year of Drafting Experience / Basic Understanding Of CAD / AV101Course / OSHA-10 Within 90 Days Of Hire.
Drafting both architectural backgrounds for preparation and completing basic AV drawings as instructed by the Director of Engineering.

Drafting II
Pay: (Salary)
Requirements: At least 1 Year Drafting With AVL / Advanced Understanding Of CAD / REVIT Experience / AV101Course / OSHA-10
Drafting both architectural backgrounds, AV Schematic Drawings, Complete Set Of AV drawings as instructed by the Director of Engineering.

Working with the Engineer assigned to the project.

Complete AV drawings set for submittals and installation.
